This six-hour training will be conducted in partnership with Georgia Stand Up to make participants more knowledgeable, confident, and effective as leaders of their neighborhoods. Students will be drilled in the mechanics of local governance, strategies for initiating and advancing legislation, and other instruction designed to make participants experts in getting things done in your neighborhood. This is especially important for those neighborhoods undergoing revitalization.
💪🌇 During the one-day workshop, you'll also learn effective strategies for engaging elected officials and policymakers on neighborhood issues that matter. Plus, we'll guide you in creating action plans to drive resident-led change in your neighborhood, focusing on solutions. 🤝✅
