CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY AND ENGAGEMENT FOR YOUNG ADULTS
June 10 - 14, 2024
This week-long academy aims to mobilize and support young adults to become facilitators of positive change in their neighborhoods and communities. Students develop relevant skills for the future while they learn to assess, plan, mobilize, implement, and evaluate legislation that could potentially benefit their communities. In addition, through relationships, teamwork, and a “web” of support that develops through the academy experience, participants will form their concrete plans to accommodate a growing network of young leaders within the City of Atlanta, using social networking tools or other institutional networks.
