Urban Plan Academy

Urban Plan Academy for Community Leaders is a one-day course designed to enhance community leaders’ understanding of the fundamental forces that affect real estate development, focusing on the trade-offs and risks involved in the entitlement and negotiation process related to land use. Through project-based learning, students will engage in a city-led redevelopment effort, honing their skills in navigating and achieving compromises among the fictional neighborhood, the development team, and the community. Please note that there are only 25 slots available, so selected participants will receive a confirmation email containing details about the course.
