About the Event

NPU University is pleased to announce that we are kicking off our Neighborhood Planning Series with a virtual lecture from Commissioner Tim Keane on the Atlanta City Design! Seats will fill up quickly, so register now to reserve your seat for this exciting event.

In the lecture, the City of Atlanta’s Commissioner of City Planning will discuss The Atlanta City Design: Aspiring to the Beloved Community, a guiding document for the City of Atlanta which articulates an aspiration for the future city that Atlantans can fall in love with. The Atlanta City Design promotes the premise that if people love their city, they will make better decisions about it. These decisions, then, will be reflected in all the plans, policies, and investments the city makes, allowing Dr. King’s concept of the Beloved Community to guide growth and transform Atlanta into the best possible version of itself.

June 9, 2020 • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Zoom • Limited Seats Available!

Participants must have a smartphone, iPad or another tablet, laptop or desktop computer. A wifi connection is strongly encouraged, but not required. If you are not using wifi, please check with your wireless or internet service provider to ensure additional data charges will not apply.
