About the Event

If you’ve attended any neighborhood or NPU meetings, you’ve probably heard or participated in some discussion around AMI – or the area median income. Since AMI is used to determine affordability, it is critical that community members understand what it is, how it works, and why it always comes up in discussions on housing affordability. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of developing workforce housing for owners and renters and how affordability is determined.

Participants must have a smartphone, iPad or another tablet, or laptop or desktop computer. A wifi connection is strongly encouraged, but not required. If you are not using wifi, please check with your wireless or internet service provider to ensure additional data charges will not apply.
