About the Event

Your voice matters—and your experience can help shape Atlanta’s future.

Civic Participation for Seniors, presented by the Department of City Planning’s NPU University in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services, is an engaging and interactive event designed to help Atlanta’s older adults feel more informed, connected, and confident in making a difference.

Participants will hear directly from local leaders during a panel discussion and Q&A, connect with City departments, and learn practical ways to navigate local government, build key relationships, advocate for important issues, and take action in their communities.

The day will also include chair aerobics, lunch, helpful resources, and opportunities to connect with fellow residents.

Join us on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Atlanta City Hall. Space is limited, and registration is required.
