About the Event
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a system for managing and displaying location information through the use of maps. As part of our Neighborhood Planning Series, this interactive course will show residents how to use GIS mapping to get information about properties, land use, zoning, zoning overlays, special use permits, rezonings, neighborhood boundaries and more. This beginner-level, introductory course is designed to equip residents with the tools they need to get property information with a few clicks. Participants will gain an understanding of how to use GIS to get all the information they need about their communities and surrounding neighborhoods.
